Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Musou game Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. This trailer focuses on Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd and his house, the Blue Lions, showcasing all of the characters that fall under his banner that you'll be able to play as.
In the trailer, we see the house leader himself leading the charge, followed by other fan favourite characters — Dedue, Mercedes, Ashe, Felix, Annette, Sylvain, and Ingrid. Each of the characters plays to their Fire Emblem: Three Houses strengths, with Sylvain riding a horse and wielding a lance, Ashe sporting a bow, and Mercedes using a book to cast magic.
You can also nab yourself some Blue Lions profile pictures from Nintendo UK on Twitter, if you want to wave your blue banner around some more!
We'll probably get to see the Black Eagles and Golden Deer representatives in the coming weeks. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes launches pretty soon — on 25th June, in fact! You can pre-order the game from various different retailers, all listed here:
We've also got a couple of additional offers via our store. If you're in the UK/EU, then you can pre-order a digital copy of Three Hopes and get 10% off using the code NLIFE10. Those of you in North America, don't fret — you can get 10% off a $50 eShop card through our store, too!

I just need to freeze myself until this game comes out. Sadly it looks like I will be swamped with work by then. Le sigh.
I liked both Zelda Warriors games, loved Fire Emblem Three Houses, but this looks dull as dishwater
@moodycat
I couldn't disagree more. Granted, I think all of 3 Houses routes are pretty weak, but at least Azure Moon doubles down on making a story about its protagonist being an edgelord and eventually redeeming himself somewhat, or at least recognizing his faults.
It's definitely rushed and not very satisfying how that character arc is resolved, but it at least exists. Claude's arc of trusting others is barely given focus, Edelgard just lacks an arc entirely in her own route, and Seteth, god bless his supports, doesn't get any attention at all in Silver Snow.
My dear Blue Lions <3 I started with them in FE3H and fell in love with all of them through the whole story. Its probably why I still haven't finished my Golden Deer route even though its the last one I have to do.
Excited to see what happens in Three Hopes and get some more time with my favorites.
@moodycat I disagree. Imo the Blue Lion had the most interesting storyline, especially Dimitri is imo the most interesting character of the game
@moodycat What? No. Blue Lions had the most complete story of all of them. And it felt the most "Fire Emblem-y", which I enjoyed
@moodycat Azure Moon had the most consistent route with the best lord arc and actually doing a good job with Edelgard.
I can't wait! The blue lions are my favorite and I already have the game pre-ordered!
@moodycat
Whhat? Blue Lions had easily the best storyline, with the Dimitri stuff and all...
As for this game, I don't know. These guys are not supposed to be some super heroes. The Warriors genre is kind of dumb IMO.
Why is it, of all genres for Nintendo go all-in to allow their IPs to be used by other companies in, it has to be musou?
And all I wanted was a Genealogy remake.
@moodycat Wow, you really think Blue Lions is worse story than Golden Deer? Personally, Blue Lions was my favorite. But I guess it depends on which you play first too.
Anyways, I love Three Houses, so this is a must-buy. But the multiple characters is the worst part of musou games IMO. I just spammed through Age of Calamity with Link because he was the only style I enjoyed. I really just want another FE game with these characters and world. 😆
@moodycat Also, my least favorite and the only path that I have no interest in replaying.
The Final Boss/Endgame was such a disappointment. It wasn't even an original stage!
It was also odd to me that even though Dimitri was never emphasized on the Black Eagles path, his obsession with Edelgard was the main focus of the Blue Lions path. This is especially true during those childhood flashbacks, which were also a complete Sacred Stones rip-off (Ephraim/Eirika and Lyon).
@Ryan_Again Golden Deer is the best path. The final battle against Nemesis is beyond epic and... the first time that I heard God Shattering Star, I knew that I was in love 💯
They are thirst trapping so hard with these design updates. Dedue getting a fresh lineup on his beard is hilarious
Nice, looks like this game will have plenty of playable characters. I look forward to the Black Eagles showcase.
@moodycat Golden deer and Blue Lions are literally the best stories in the game.
