Capcom evidently hasn't completely forgotten about its iconic mascot and has announced Mega Man Legacy Collection, which will spruce up the first six NES titles with new features. It's confirmed to be on the way to the 3DS eShop in the Winter for $14.99, though the Wii U misses out on the Summer arrival of the download on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Developed by Digital Eclipse, Capcom's press release focuses on the HD version, emphasizing that the classics have been reproduced utilising the Eclipse Engine. Beyond the six games this download will include a Challenge Remix mode that presents scenarios to apparently test veterans but also help newcomers get familiar with the mechanics, and a "Museum of the era" with concept art and more. In addition it'll be possible to set times with online leaderboards and watch videos of others' runs.
We've enquired whether stereoscopic 3D will be supported in the 3DS version (as HD is obviously off the table) and will provide updates should we hear back from Capcom.
Capcom's certainly shown plenty of willingness to keep retro Mega Man games alive, bringing a number of them to Nintendo's 3DS and Wii U Virtual Console stores. This remaster is certainly a step further in that approach. Below are some screenshots of the HD version.
In terms of Capcom's E3 plans, Mega Man Legacy Collection is the only confirmed game - in a press release outlining the company's booth - coming to Nintendo hardware. The other titles that'll be playable are Resident Evil Zero, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and Street Fighter V.
Are you excited about Mega Man Legacy Collection coming to 3DS in the Winter, or disappointed by the absence of a Wii U version? Let us know.

I am curious as to why no Wii U version, I was thinking perhaps it was redundancy but then these games are on 3DS as well.....
I'd prefer a Wii U version but 3DS is better than nothing. I already have those games so it doesn't really matter.
SWEET!! Kind of sucks having duplicate games but this is great news. I'll be buying for sure.
Been waiting for something like this to come along to give me a reason to play these games since I never have. No Wii U version is hugely disappointing. Ugh
@Warruz I suspect it's because a third-party is using some a tool-set / engine to 'remaster' them, and it was perhaps deemed too expensive / time consuming and therefore not worth the potential return on the Wii U eShop.
I actually think the Wii U eShop audience is surely particularly keen on retro Mega Man, more so than equivalent shoppers on PS4 and Xbox One, but never mind!
Great....another re-release.... Capcom has no originality anymore and just milks all their IPs from their wonderful pasts.
Wow...
Having all the 6 Megaman games that we can already get at the e-shop..
How disappointing. Was expecting this AT LEAST to have the entire classic era, from 1 to 10 with "& Bass". This is just some poor attempt on grabbing cash of a lost fanbase. You guys who are happy with this do know we already got some "Mega Man Anniversary Collection" in the past that actually got up to 8 right? This is just bellow mediocre.
Well, its a start!!!!!!!!! Thanks Capcom...now even though the 3DS version is coming late, you better not quietly cancel it if the Summer release on PC and home consoles goes awry (which if Capcom can even screw up a remaster of some the best NES games...then we're all screwed) Either way, I'll keep my eye on this!
Cool, I'll probably get it on the 3DS at least. Maybe the PS4 if it ever goes on sale.
@callmeking17 Remakes and remasters are about all they can afford without financial backing from one of the big 3.
This feels like another cheap cash grab. Capcom must be desperate if this is the best they can do. Wonder how many it'll sell?
Looks pretty cool. I'd probably buy it, but I already own most of those Mega Man games on my 3DS from the Virtual Console. Might get it on Steam with an inevitable sale instead.
@callmeking17 - Lol. The irony of you saying this on a Nintendo fan site.
Without Inafune, Capcom just don't know what to do with Mega Man anymore. Might as well sell the IP to Nintendo or back to Inafune.
Ah, more milking by capcom...
"HD." Heh.
Looks allright. Would have been better though if it included some games not already available on 3ds though.
Have them on the VC but would possibly get this for those "HD Graphics" and extras.
I actually prefer them on the 3DS anyways. For some reason, I like playing my retro games on the handheld instead of my home console.
I might check out this collection. I don't have any ofthe original Mega Man series on VC, so this might be worth it. Would rather have on Wii U
Oh, the MH and AA machine is getting something else from Capcom.
Thankfully this does not come to Wii U, so I won't have to give you any of my money.
Typical, only just bought these on eshop. Would have held off if I knew this was coming. Oh well.
Another game that missed the Wiiu? That's a shocker! It's still pretty funny tho
This is crap. It has less content than the PS2 Mega Man Collection, an 11 year old game! All it offers over it are leaderboards (which who pays attention to in Mega Man?) and the art work, which is admittedly a very nice addition.
Unless you want Mega Man games on Steam, which this is the first time that has happened if I'm not wrong, this is a waste of money. This will just show Capcom they can milk Mega Man dry with ports if this sells well.
Sweet! I can't wait for the legacy collection, since I'm a Mega Man newcomer.
@FragRed It is about the best they can do - they can't afford new AAA games without financial backing from the platform holders. Hence why their big games are exclusives. Ace Attorney and maybe Monster Hunter are the only things they can really afford on their own these days.
does that mean that all 6 megaman nes game will be removed from eshop after the game release!
@DEAD No they'll still be there
Just the first six huh? I was really hoping for 9 and 10 to finally release on the 3DS.
Still, spruced up? I wonder how?
It will be my first tae on mega man games so count me in.
@IceClimbers it's all too corporate. There's way too much overhead for them to deal with.
Let's see...all 6 of the games are already on 3DS virtual console, it doesn't have 7 and 8 like Megaman collection, nor does it have Megaman &Bass or 9-10, yeah...no.
Awesome! Of the NES titles, I've only ever played II—which was a (wonderful) Petit Computer port—so I'll be getting this for sure. For $15, I think it's a steal.
Well the artwork scans won't look so great on 3DS.
how did this not go to WiiU?
@Retro_on_theGo - If this sells well it would show that people are actually interested in buying re-releases of old games with new features, making your argument redundant.
It's gotten to a point where I've wanted new Megaman games so much that I've just become tired. I think if Capcom actually delivered a new Megaman game I would be disappointed just because of excessive anticipation and expectations.
...aren't these already on the eshop though?
Well, it's a Mega Man game! A compilation, yes, but when was the last time Capcom released a Mega Man game for consoles? I'm pleasantly surprised.
@Tsurii897 - I hope you realise how stupid you sound when instead of refuting or arguing, you simply resort to saying that.
How surprising. People complaining on Nintendolife! Though I have to say there is a reason for it this time. It's kind of a cheap cash grab. Not having Mega Man 7, 8, 9, and 10 however really hurts it. As it stands now, it looks like it's just an HD port of the classics, probably lacking any of the features from Rockman: The Complete Works in Japan too at that. Not having it on Wii U is the final nail in the coffin for this game.
Crapcom being Crapcom as always. Hate these studios making stupid "business decisions" that ignore Nintendo consoles when they're really just lazy.
Capcom, the masters of re-release. I don't know, this is a maybe for me on PS4, if nothing else but to add a drop in the bucket of incentive for Capcom to actually fund and publish a new Mega Man. Color me unimpressed with emulating the originals and callling it HD.
How cheap can they be to not add 9 or 10 ?
While we can already get all these titles on the virtual console. I still can't help but feel upset over no Wii U version.
@Geonjaha How does that make my argument redundant when that's exactly what I'm arguing? If this sells, it only gives Capcom more reason to rerelease old Mega Man and Mega Man X games with a few bells and whistles instead of ever making a new game.
@Geonjaha I love Mega man just as much as everybody else here does, I'm just stating what everyone else doesn't want to admit. I have mega man anniversary collection for the GameCube, I don't need "HD remasters" of NES games Lol.
I already own all 6 of them (thanks to the Virtual Console), so I need to learn more about the extra features in this collection package.
The lack of a Wii U version is baffling. They keep releasing legacy Mega Man games there, which surely means they sell well enough?
I should get it on the 3DS, then. Still leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
3DS only.... ok, I won't bother getting it.
@Faruko They will save those for the next one. They can't put too many in one game otherwise, they can't milk the franchise that they basically killed production 10 or so years ago if they include everything.
I really don't understand why they didn't include the rest Megaman games? But leaderboards sounds yummy! This + artworks might be the only reason to buy this collection (espescially I didn't buy 'em on VC).
I am kind of curious. Isn't too much to have an HD version of an 8bit game?
If I had to choose between the retro graphics and HD, I'd go for the retro graphics. Some things really don't need HD. Just makes them look fake and superficial.
I don't necessarily understand why 9 and 10 aren't being included, but it at least makes since for 7 and 8. They're rebuilding the games on a new engine, not just emulating the ROMs. I'll probably grab this during a Steam sale. By "HD Graphics" I think that they are talking about various graphical oddities in the Mega Man games, such as the flickering/invisible sprites and the effect near the edge of the screen on scrolling levels. While there is some charm in those glitches, the games will be much more playable without them.
EDIT: After watching the trailer, it seems like they will be adding some HD effects to the game. I'm not entirely sure.
What? No physical? Poopie.
Nice to see Megaman getting some love, but...the Megaman Anniversary Collection on the PS2, and other systems that was released years ago had more content than this...it had MM7 + MM8, along with two arcade games. It may be nice on the 3DS, but for any other system...lol no.
A boxed edition would make a lot more sense for this!
They aren't on PSN already so it kinda makes sense they think it will sell much better there. I would have no reason to buy this on Wii U and if I only had a 3 DS I would no reason to buy it on that either.
Capcom is rereleasing like a broken record, so I'll respond like a broken record; where's Mega Man Legends 3!?
No Mega Man 7, 8, 9 or 10.
No special video content.
No bonus games.
Already available on VC.
And somehow still no Wii U version.
@dkxcalibur I agree, I play my 3ds for retro gaming more then my wii u. I'm pretty sure I've got all the mega man games on both systems anyways, but this is still good for those few people who haven't played mega man.
Now if this of went up to 8, this would of been worth a purchase but nope,
Nope, not buying this crapfest.
Too bad it's not a physical release.
Still trying to figure out what is HD about this.
I would have liked a Wii U version, but at least they didn't conveniently forget Nintendo altogether. I'm picking it up on PC now.
I'm just waiting for Megaman & Bass here on Europe so I can complete my Megaman (& Zero) collection on the Wii U. (Not interested on the Battle Network series).
There already exists Anniversary Collection for (albeit US-only) PS2 and GCN, which includes Mega Man 7 and 8 as well. What's the point of a new collection that actually has fewer games?
@Warruz But it's not on 360/3 so it makes enough sense, just releasing it on the top 3 platforms atm
It seems to me that they would keep this $15 collection off the Wii U, because they already have the first 6 Mega Man games available on the Wii U for $5 each.
@Onion@JusticeColde That's about right. I'd say it doesn't matter, unless it were a bigger collection.
@gsmaciel My thoughts exactly!
Where is the Mega Man Legendgacy Collection?
The replay feature sounds interesting.
No retail version, no Wii U release, no thanks.
Um...is Capcom abandoning the Wii U too?
Sorry, but no thank you this is a bit LAME ..
I'm only missing 5 & 6, so unless it's in 3D, I'm not buying. Besides, no 7-10 is a massive deal breaker for me.
"Below are some screenshots of the HD version"
literally just pictures of NES games
It's a shame that Mega Man 8 isn't included. The only way to get that on a Nintendo system is through the GameCube collection and, as a result, I'm reluctant to buy any MM games 1-7 separately.
1. To hell with the WiiU the graphics between the NDS or 3ds is meh.
2. Megaman collection for the GBC would have been nicer. Even just an pack in of an GBC cart with an physical package. Capcom is stupid.
3. They are playing on the "Tron Legacy" AKA "Windows Legacy" devices. That is stupid enough. Just call it Megaman collection but the truth is that Capcom released an better collection for the PSX before. ( Again the PSX not the PS2 ).
Capcom fails yet again to impress.
I already own all of the MM games on 3DS already but if they make the first six stereoscopic I'll buy this.
I already have Mega Man 1-6 via virtual console. Unless there's a price deal for those who already have the games bought, I have no interest in this. I mean it's nice, especially for those who don't have a way to play the games somehow (gamers who are strictly PC, etc.) but for me, it's pointless.
"...will include a Challenge Remix mode that presents scenarios to apparently test veterans but also help newcomers get familiar with the mechanics"
Translation: young gamers today need their hands held and trophies awarded for everything because we are raising a generation based on coddling and entitlement.
Disclaimer: I am aware this comes across as harsh, but it is clearly meant to be humorous.
Capcom don't see Wii U as a console. They are ruthless!!
PS4 and 3DS all the way.
One thing I want to point out is that as someone who owns all 6 original cartridges, the screenshots provided ARE of the NES game, but look a little nicer than their original counterparts. I can especially notice the difference with the screenshot of Airman's stage with the Air Tikis. It looks more or less like all they did was use the bright, HD-ish colors of Mega Man 9 and 10 and apply them to an NES game to give the graphics more of a "sheen" to them.
Also I 2nd what @RegalSin mentioned. Considering Capcom completely screwed us over on the Mega Mania Collection for GBC, they could have easily taken the Legacy games and left it on PS4 and PC, while giving NIntendo 3DS owners something exclusive, like the GB games with the full color scheme and everything.
Also unless the 3DS version of this game has a nice 3D effect like the 3D Classics games, there's not much hope of this being a worthwhile game unless it's literally like 10$. And knowing Capcom they'll probably charge like 20.
So...Mega Man games originated on Nintendo consoles. By that logic, we shouldn't release it on the Wii U but we should release it on the PS4 and Xbox One, right? Makes sense!
Oho, a sign of good will, perhaps? Nah, probably not, but it's nice to see it coming to Nintendo platforms at all.
It should be like what they did for the PSP with the first Megaman.
Sounds good, there are more NES Mega Man games I still haven't played, and this would be a lot more costly than buying them on the eShop.
Would prefer this to come to Wii U, but 3DS or PC could work for me.
I'll just keep playing my Mega Man Anniversary Collection, which also includes Mega Man 7 and 8, thank you.
Seeing this being released on all those platforms but not the Wii U just seems plain wrong to me honestly...
Disappointed there it's no Wii U version!-_- It would make too much sense to release it on Wii U where most of the mega man fans are, no instead let's give it to the Xbox ppl. ..stupid capcom, geesh!
That sounds good. Usually Australia's double the price, so that's $30. It's still better than most, considering the first Mega Man Games costs $7.50 and everything after it costs $6.50. It seems more like a bargain than an actual update.
Day one buy for me.
As long as all six games have stereoscopic 3D and look better than the NES originals, I'm in. If it doesn't, nope.
Now I REALLY hope the rumor of Ryu in Smash Bros isn't true.
I've got all 6 on the virtual console, so I'll give this a miss. Perhaps if they did 7-10 as well then I'd be interested
I am not really interested in the NES Mega Man games seeing as I prefer the SNES ones so I will have to pass on this. Maybe someday they will revive Mega Man Legends 3 since that game had so much potential.
@Trickbaby14 why because there is no wii u version? LOL! Even if wii u was doing better and NOT below dreamcast numbers capcom has avoided wii u like capcoms allergic to wii u since launch or something. or is it something else? that said though Ryu form street fighter to being a character in smash 4? NO THANKS!!!! >=(
I can't believe people are still beating the dead horse that is Wii U. When will you guys realize that nothing, especially digital, from a main 3rd party is ever coming?
Digital Eclipse......
I think I'll just stick to the VC versions.
Big surprise. Capcom is re releasing a game that originated on a Nintendo system and not putting it on the wii U.
@Nictendo64
That's because there is next to NO install base on Wii U. When you combine that with the 3rd party attach rate on Nintendo platforms, then it's actually surprising it's even coming to 3DS. At this point as a Nintendo enthusiast, I'm counting my blessings.
I already have all six games on Virtual Console on Wii U so I don't need this to come to Wii U. What would be the difference? The little extras aren't really worth it. I would assume/hope that the bottom screen on the 3DS is the menu allowing you to switch weapons without having to pause. That would be an improvement over the 3DS Virtual Console versions.
So this is the result of Capcom hiring a producer for all things Megaman? A collection that actually pales in comparison to their anniversary collection from 2 gens ago?
While Mega Man 7, 9, and 10 not being on the collection is something of a downer, I personally don't care about Mega Man 8. Worst game of the classic series(counting main games) by a longshot.
Still have the Megaman collection game on PS2. This is the reason why I have not bought any Megaman games on any VC. I will probably pass on this on the Xbox One as well.
For everyone upset that this game is not on the Wii U, keep in mind one thing. Why would Capcom waste resources on porting the game to a console that has not even surpassed the Sega Saturn's numbers?
You know, the same Sega Saturn that is considered a failure in the history books of gaming
Nintendo gamers are not being ignored here. The collection is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo platform from the current generation that people atcually own.
I know I sound very harsh, but its the truth. For all intents and purposes, the Wii U is a flop. Maybe above 3D0, Jaguar, and Virtual Boy tier, but its a flop in sales.
I love my Wii U, but people need to stop expecting ports to come to the Wii U. Right now, the Wii U is pretty much biding its time until its successor(be it the NX or something else) arrives to replace it.
Nintendo gamers are getting this collection, its on the 3DS. We are not being ignored.
Utter disappointment. What the absolute hell capcom? I mean seriously? How many times have we played all of these? Plus anyone who wanted these have already picked up megaman anniversary collection on gamecube. Also this "new" collection is actually worse because the gamecube version had 4 extra games in it. This game is going to sell like butt. And of course capcom is going to twist that by saying "oh no, the new megaman game didn't sell. Guess that means nobody wants him. Let's not make another one" I have an idea capcom, how about you make a megaman game that's actually new!? Not a collection of 20+ year old games that we've already played dozens of times! Oh and here's another insult from them, check out the systems that this collection is for. PS4, xbox one, 3DS. No Wii U version!! Really!? They haven't realized by now that megaman's audience is on nintendo? Not that I would've bought it anyway since I have the superior gamecube collection, but still. Sigh. I pray for the day capcom goes bankrupt.
Well it's at least something, but that's not saying much given Capcom's track record regarding Mega Man.
It's cool that Mega Man's getting another compilation, but it should include 7-10, Wily Wars, Powered Up, and the option to play the 8-bit games with remixed music.
Every system gets love but the Wii U.
Releasing it on 3DS just defeats the purpose of claiming this is a "HD" collection. The screenshots don't look at all different from the original and we have the internet and Artbooks to look at sketches. Capcom needs to release a new game
@Bryon15 I have seen other comments like this, and I have to ask. Does the 3DS family suddenly not count as Nintendo hardware and the people using those systems suddenly aren't Nintendo gamers?
The collection is also not coming to the Vita. What do the Wii U and Vita have in common? Both have been flops this generation when it comes to sales.
I own a Wii U, I love the system, but the thing is a flop when it comes to sales. Its not as bad as the 32X, 3D0, Jaguar, and Virtual Boy, but its not great either. Let me put it this way, the Wii U has not even surpassed sales of the Saturn and the Dreamcast.
I saw this same argument a few weeks ago in the comments for the Resident Evil 0 HD story. People blasted Capcom and acted like they don't support Nintendo at all.
Nevermind the fact that the 3DS has gotten several Monster Hunter games, Ace Attorney is still a staple of Nintendo platforms, and the 3DS has gotten other games from Capcom, including this collection.
It's not that Capcom is ignoring Nintendo gamers, its just that they are supporting the Nintendo system that has more players, which in the current generation is the 3DS family.
I'll only bite if its in 3d. 7-10 as dlc could really help capcom. You guys over there need to consider that.
I have 3 of the original MM NES games on the Wii U already, but I will prob pick this up on 3ds, just to have them portable. Hopefully its budget priced, though.
So...whats the point of the 3DS version again ?
All NES titles are already available, cost 5 bucks each (Thus 30 buck complete), so the collection would have to cost less to be cost effective...
What ? They neglect the platform for pretty much everything else but THIS gets a release ? Please, someone tell me what this kind of mental disability is called....please...
Any advice for someone tackling these games for the first time?
@Nintendo_Ninja
Don't start with Mega Man 1. Mega Man 2 is one of my favorites but that is kinda hard as well.
Start with 3 or 4, whichever has Toad Man. It's one of the easier ones and has more levels than some of the other games. It's a good way to get the timing on jumps etc as second nature.
@Trickbaby14 Why? Capcom isn't ignoring Nintendo fans at all. This game is coming to the 3DS. They actively support the thing.
@Retro_on_theGo
Thing is, how can you hate on this game when your nickname is "Retro on the go"?
Capcom hasn't supported the Wii U at all since RE Revelations, so this isn't too much of a surprise. I wonder how well the games sold on the eShop, it could be either they didn't sell at all so there is no fanbase there or they sold lots so the fanbase already has them. It'd be interesting to see how the Wii U VC sales compare against the PS4/XBO sales.
I don't see me buying any Capcom games on any system other than 3DS anytime soon though and that's only Monster Hunter.
@Bryon15 "How many times have we played all of these?" I haven't played any of these, except for II. Just because you might've played them countless times, doesn't mean everyone played 'em countless times.
"Plus anyone who wanted these have already picked up megaman anniversary collection on gamecube." I was in primary school when this came out, and really had no idea who Mega-man was, so I didn't have a chance to get the Anniversary collection.
"Sigh. I pray for the day capcom goes bankrupt." You were just complaining that they never make new Mega-man games, and now you want 'em to go bankrupt? It's hard for a company to make a game while they're bankrupt, and I can't picture them selling the franchise or becoming a second-party developer.
@hYdeks
These corporate hacks think PS4 and X1 are the answer to everything. Granted, for realistic or AAA titles they'd probably be right, but there ARE a few genres and franchises Wii U is the better choice- Mega Man is probably one of them. I imagine PS4 is a good choice because there were a lot of Mega Man games on the early PSone, but Xbox? Seriously? Who's gonna buy NES Mega Man games on the Xbox... you can't tell me that this will do better on Xbox than Wii U.
The truth is I have these games multiple times over- GameCube Anniversary collection, 3DS VC and Wii U VC.... but, if the games are in 3D it's a done deal. I've been wanting to play these games in 3D since the handheld launched back in 2011
This is all well and good, but any chance of them releasing the Mega Max X games?
Great, ANOTHER collection that isn't even as good as the original anniversary collection that also had 7 and 8.
So... Whats so remastered and HD about this? I don't really see anything worth buying. I already have all these on my 3DS. I mean I'd get it if it had DuckTales Remastered treatment. I'd also get it for Wii U, since none of my 3DS purchases had crossbuy. Its nice for those who don't have any Mega Man, but the real fans probably already have these games.
I don't really see the point of putting NES era graphics in HD. If they're going to bother to remaster the games with HD as a big selling point, they should just go ahead and modernize the graphics with the way Mega Man looks in Smash4WiiU as a starting point.
I've got MM 1 and 2 on 3DS, I'm glad I didn't go through and buy them all.
Some serious bitter Wii U owners in this thread. Like others have said, capcom support Nintendo systems that sell so capcom show 3DS love!
@WaveBoy Dont forget Street Fighter 5, which could have been sold als 4.5.
Looking back at the series, whenever they switched to a new numbered sub-series, the whole game changed drastically, from teh Fighting system to the graphics engine.
Now, all thats changed is a handfull of polys and the stage system stolen from Dead or Alive.
The exclusion of anything past MM6 makes this whole thing an absolute joke,
Even if they did include more games, it'd likely be in the form of DLC (the same way Namco made you buy Ms Pac Man and such for their idiotic Pac Man Collection on PS3/Xbox360).
''HD''
I'm glad to see that there is not as much "hate" for this announcement as I'd expected. Still, there is quite some, maybe if Capcom would put this in Kickstarter, they'll no longer be called lazy, uncreative and easy cash grabbers.
I do think it is lazy but at least is a download, It should have more games like the racing one and Megaman and Bass, it's just plain "remix" NES.
The good thing is that Capcom won't be risking their business to please some fans with some standard below average game that almost no one would care about with a multi-millionaire investment. Did I hear Megaman Legends 3? I think I also heard KOF XIII.
I think the choice for the 3DS over the Wii is good, this is not 1987 and playing this game in a TV (especially HD) is not that good anymore. Games that now are short and not so challenging as they used to be are more suitable for portables today. But if you still want them on the WiiU there's the VC, except for the 6th.
Capcom probably sees poor eshop sales and the added expense of working with the gamepad as reasons to not do it. Overall I'm more disappointed in the lack of a retail release regardless of platform.
@OMC79 no megaman 6 is there...here in the states anyway
$2.50 each for the first 6 Mega Man games? That's quite a deal, considering I have none of them.
I'll think about it, but it'd be more tempting if it included 9 and 10.
@WaveBoy You always get it.
I would have bought this without hesitation on my Wii U... disappointing news!
Hmmm, I already have all 6 games as downloads. If it would be on a 3DS card (or better, on a Wii u disc), I might have bought it. Though the controls don't feel right on 3DS. I have Megaman 6 on 3DS, And because that didn't feel right I later also downloaded it on Wii u. That felt better, I don't know why.
@TwilightAngel OK then
On second thought, no 9 and 10 means no money from me.. Although for $15.00 that's still a pretty deal for 6 classics... Ok the deal is back on, Capcom.
Can we please get amiibo support at least? I really want to see some incentives to rebuy these games again for the third time and actually play them.
Never mind... Now I'm happier
"So it's a major bummer that Mega Man Legacy Collection isn't coming to 3DS until 2016, but apparently it will arrive with extra features not present on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One editions of the game. As detailed by Capcom Unity, the 3DS version will have 10 additional challenges that are unlocked by the Mega Man amiibo."
