The holidays are all but over and it's time to move on to 2015... but wait, what's that? Behind the desk, against the wall over there. Why don't you go check it out?
Why, it's a new trailer for the upcoming RPG Citizens of Earth! It must've been sitting here since Christmas Eve but got lost in all the hectic holiday merriment. The video's reworking of "A Visit from St. Nicholas" as read by Atlus PR manager John Hardin might be a bit tired by now, but the footage and showcasing of a number of citizen "classes" is good any time of year.
Citizens of Earth is still scheduled for release on 20th January for both the Wii U and 3DS eShops. Are you planning on ringing in the new year with a governmental quest?

Better late than never, I guess......
That was cute. Definitely needed the reminder. Still looking forward to playing it.
This game is going to be the closest thing we've seen to Earthbound since...well Earthbound!
00:19: Smashes Brother, lol.
Looking good. I'll download it.
This game costs a lot, but it would be worth it. When I wait for a sale, I'll look forward playing this.
I'm guessing we won't see a Europe release for quite some time? I remember seeing a release schedule for the Wii U recently and Citizens of Earth was only down for the US.
Finally i guess?
Totally stoked for this game. Definitely buying.
Have you all already forgotten about the abysmal voice acting and the insanely repetitive and annoying "GOOOOO GOOO GO!" That the VP uses to attack?
If they don't fix this, then this game is gonna suuuuuck...
@Dizzard It's actually a simultaneous release in North America and Europe the week of Jan. 20.
@Nosferatu-Zodd Maybe for you and everyone else who...never played RPGs before?
@CanisWolfred
Nice straw man... I've been playing RPGs since the original Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda on the NES.
@Nosferatu-Zodd It wasn't a strawman. You don't know what that word means.
But it doesn't matter. You're free to miss out on a good game because of something that apparently didn't ruin games when you played them in the 90's. That's your choice and you're free to have that choice while I laugh at it from afar.
@CanisWolfred
"A straw man is a common type of argument and is an informal fallacy based on the misrepresentation of an opponent's argument."
I gave a common critique of the game, that even the editors here have echoed, and you threw out a fallacy and blatant misrepresentation of myself and my argument. You attempted to shoot down my valid point by dismissing it as the ramblings of an uniformed individual who had no basis or experience with RPGs from which to draw my conclusions. Smoke bomb, strawman, "quality" Fox News style reporting...call it what you want man. But, I've been in the RPG playing game for 23 of my 28 years on the planet homie, if they don't fix those glaring oversites the game will be near unplayable.
@Nosferatu-Zodd "Unplayable" is an exaggeration. But this argument is old and I can't be bothered to care what you have to say.
